I came to Dr. Georgiou after long and painful years when lipedema literally took over my life. My disease began after a very stressful coma. Six years of unbearable pain, fear of more surgeries, because after one of them I experienced clinical death in two days. And after another, when they removed my tracheostomy, I cried and was afraid to close my eyes, not knowing what would happen next. All of this made me feel terrified of possible surgeries. However, I simply had no choice: at the age of 23, weighing almost 140 kg, I felt like I was losing myself and my life.<\/p>
